CinemaTechnica for Kids (and new Filmmakers)

While CinemaTechnica is aimed at professionals, we also know that everyone started somewhere.  With me, I started making films with my grandfather’s VHS camera when I was 12, and I never stopped.  Even though I have taught at film schools, I am mostly self taught, and know the value of learning by doing.  With extremely inexpensive and robust cameras, like GoPro’s, even little kids can start to make their own films.  As my own son develops an interest in making videos, I find myself teaching him a lot of little things, which inspired us to create this corner of our site where we will link videos and information aimed at young filmmakers.
